GA Testimony Survey

The EAVP office is dedicated to advocating for UC Berkeley’s graduate student community at the local, state, federal, and UC system levels. To better understand the challenges faced by our graduate students and to amplify their voices, the office has developed an open, flexible survey.
This survey invites students to share their experiences and concerns on a wide range of topics, including campus infrastructure, safety, transportation, housing, support for students with dependents, financial aid, basic needs, mental health and well-being, diversity and inclusion, advisor-advisee relationships, mentorship, accessibility, academic and professional development, and any other issues affecting their academic journey and personal well-being.

Students can choose to respond anonymously or provide contact information if they wish to be followed up with. All shared information will be used solely for advocacy purposes, and specific details will only be shared with explicit consent.
The survey submissions will be reviewed monthly, and while the current advocacy agenda is prioritized for the 2024–2025 academic year, every submission will be carefully considered to drive meaningful change.
