Academics
- Graduate Division
- The Graduate Division is the administration unit that oversee most academic issues for graduate student on campus. The Graduate Division also puts on workshops and collaborates with the Graduate Assembly on improving graduate student life.

Health & Fitness
- RSF
- The Recreation Sports Facility (RSF) is the primary gym on campus. It has weight rooms, fitness classes, aerobic machines, racketball and squash courts, basketball courts, a climbing wall (restricted access), and many other anemities. It is often crowded. However, the membership cost is only $10 per semester.

- University Health Servies (UHS) at the Tang Center
- UHS is the primary health clinic on campus. It provides comprehensive medical, mental health and health promotion services to all Cal students. Spouses, domestic partners and other eligible non-student groups pay fees-for-service, which are higher than student fees. Links to the most used services are below:
Housing
- Ida L. Jackson Graduate House
- The Ida Louise Jackson Graduate House is located one block from the campus. The complex offers space for 120 graduate students in 2,3,4,5 and 6 bedroom shared apartments.
- University Village (family housing)
- The University Village is a 58 acre complex with 760 one, two and three bedroom apartments, and two bedroom townhouses, located three miles west of the campus. UVA has its own recreational & community center, a café, laundry rooms, and child care center. Click here for the University Village Resident Association.
- Manville Apartments
- These units are reserved for graduate students. The buildig is located three blocks from the southwestern corner of campus at Shattuck Avenue and Channing Way. The apartments are within walking distance of downtown Berkeley near shops, banks, movie theatres, restaurants and public transportation.
