ABOUT US

Hello and thank you for stopping by to visit the Graduate Support Services Project page (formerly called the Graduate Advocacy Project). As the project coordinator, I seek to plan programs that address common issues that affect graduate students or that graduate students are interested in. I have several ideas for this program that speak to the mission of this project, such as getting graduate students on campus to engage and understand what resources the Bay Area can provide and linking the graduate population here with on-campus resources. I also believe the best form of support is in one another, and I want to find a way to facilitate this interaction, maybe through sponsored study breaks, mentoring efforts, etc. In the past the GSSP Coordinator has also planned wonderful annual workshop series covering topics ranging from "surviving oral exams" to "financing graduate school" and I intend to continue these wonderful traditions. I am also available to meet one-on-one or with groups seeking more information about campus resources. I want you to contact me if you have any concerns or suggestions, and also feel free to stop by! Looking forward to programming for you.
