2007-08 Deadlines
For Graduate Assembly funding applications

NOTE: All applications must be submitted before 12pm (12 noon) on the deadline date.

Types of Funding Awards:

A. Graduate Events: provides funding for meetings and events of a graduate student group. (Note: Graduate Events and Graduate Events are now one application titled Graduate Events)

B. Group Resources: provides funding for the general operations of a graduate student group.

C. Grants: provides additional funding for larger projects in the areas of Student Activism, Campus Diversity, Community Service, and Educational Improvement.

D. Travel Award: provides travel funding for graduate students presenting at a conference outside of the Bay Area (both nationally and internationally).

Please review the 2007/2008 Funding Guide for more information regarding the GA Funding Policies.

C. GRANT APPLICATIONS: Provides funding for student activism, campus diversity, community service, and educational improvement projects

Deadlines And Duration of Projects

Projects can be funded for an entire year or semester. Applications are due before 12pm (12 noon) on the deadline dates.

Fall 07 semester projects receipts are due no later than 30 days after the event or 12/10/07 (whichever is first).
Spring 08 semester projects receipts are due no later than 30 days after the event or 5/12/08 (whichever is first).

D. Travel Award: provides travel funding for graduate students presenting at a conference outside of the Bay Area (both nationally and internationally). The Travel Award is the only funding category where a funding workshop is NOT required to apply for GA funds.

**All workshops are held at the Graduate Assembly (Anthony Hall) in the Meeting Room area unless otherwise specified. Workshops last approximately 1 hour**

Workshops are generally held between the hours of 8:30am and 3:30pm Monday-Thursday.  All confirmed workshop times are posted online.  An RSVP is not required to attend any of the Funding Workshop times posted below.

Funding Workshop Waiver Form:

The funding workshop waiver form is given in lieu of attending a funding workshop.  This option is only available to club officers who attended a funding workshop during the 2006/07 academic year. If your workshop attendance is not on file, you will be required to attend a new workshop and are not eligible for a waiver.  All funding applications and reimbursements are due at 12pm (12 noon) on the advertised deadlines in the applications. LATE or INCOMPLETE applications will not receive funding.



CAMPUS LIFE & LEADERSHIP REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Visit Campus Life & Leadership (formerly OSL: Office of Student Life) for student group registration information. You must re-register your graduate student group each academic year to remain active.

*You must be an active graduate student group to apply for funding from the Graduate Assembly.
